Founder’s Perspective
Security is often approached as a collection of products and services—gates, guards, cameras, access control systems, and policies. In my experience, this approach rarely addresses the underlying problem. It doesn't accurately identify threats and vulnerabilities. It doesn't identify or prioritize risks, liabilities, or options.
Effective protection begins with a methodical assessment and understanding of risk.
Throughout my career working in the military, national security, and complex private sector, commercial, industrial, and residential environments, I repeatedly saw the same pattern: organizations investing heavily in security measures that were never designed as part of a coherent strategy. When incidents occur, it becomes clear that the issue was not the absence of security but the absence of a structured approach to understanding and mitigating, resulting in ad hoc solutions that are not only ineffective but also costly.
S6RG was founded to address that gap.
Our work focuses on the architecture of protection—helping clients understand the threats they face, the vulnerabilities that matter, and how to design security programs that are both effective and defensible. Whether advising organizations, institutions, or private clients, the goal is always the same: to create protection strategies that can be trusted to perform reliably under real-world conditions unique to their circumstances.
Security should not be reactive, improvised, or driven by vendors. It should be deliberate, structured, and aligned with the broader risk environment in which our clients operate.
That philosophy continues to guide everything we do at S6RG.
